

Widnall Bakery
Sam Widnall is the founder of Widnall Bakery.
In 2019, Sam competed on Bake Off: The Professionals, reaching the semi-final alongside Adam, the owner of a niche patisserie.

Widnall Bakery was launched in August 2024 and has since been successful at various markets, selling sourdoughs, breads, cakes and specialising in patisserie - particularly the cruffin.
Due to high demand, some markets specifically request the patisserie range, as other businesses already cover general baked goods.

All baking is done from home and the business has recently received a 5-star hygiene rating.
The cruffins have been especially well received, as there is nothing quite like them in the area.
Vegan and gluten-free options are also available.
While markets have been a strong foundation, Sam is still exploring opportunities beyond them and hopes to establish Widnall Bakery more prominently within Oswestry, Shrewsbury and the surrounding areas.
